Placing your child for adoption can be difficult, but it may provide the peace of mind and clarity you’re looking for.

No one has the right to pressure you into any pregnancy decision, including adoption. Let’s review what you should know about adoption services and how we can support you. This is your pregnancy and your choice.

Should I Choose This Option?

There’s much to consider with adoption. It can be an emotional decision, especially if you struggle with placing your child with another family. But it could also be rewarding to watch them grow and flourish in a supportive, loving home. You can make that possible.

Some people have argued that birth mothers have little to no control over the process and experience only regret. But this isn’t the case; you play an essential role in your adoption journey.

You can select the adoptive family, choose the plan that best suits you, and even receive financial and material support.

Three Adoption Plans:

  • Open adoption: With an open adoption, you establish a relationship with the adoptive family through regular contact. The child will know who you are and your role in their life.
  • Semi-open adoption: Though more uncommon, a semi-open adoption allows for contact, but it is facilitated through a third party like an adoption attorney or agency.
  • Closed adoption: A closed adoption offers the most privacy. You remain anonymous, and your identifying records are sealed.

Consider which plan might work best for you, and know that you will be supported with whichever you choose.
