- Do I have a job or other income source that ensures I’m financially stable?
- Could I receive baby supplies from loved ones?
- Do I have a strong support system?
- What are my main concerns about parenting? Expectations?
- What pre-conceived ideas about parenting do I have? Are they accurate?
These questions may help guide your decision and determine whether you could parent.
Remember, parenting does require responsibility and sacrifice, but the most important trait is love for your child. This love will help them to succeed and be happy. You might have hard days, but perfection isn’t required to parent!
